Record your screen, then make it look made.

Record a display, one window, an area you drag out, or just your camera, with your voice and your Mac’s sound. Stop, and it opens in the Studio with a backdrop, rounded corners, zooms where you clicked, and captions from what you said.

How it works

Three steps.Nothing to learn.

  1. 1

    Pick what to record

Choose a display, a window or an area, or just your camera. Pick your microphone and camera, and whether to record your Mac’s sound. A countdown gives you a moment to get ready.

  2. 2

    Record, then stop

A small bar floats over your screen to pause, restart, delete or stop. OneMacApp’s own windows stay out of the recording, and the camera is saved on its own so you can place it later.

  3. 3

    Polish it in the Studio

Pick a wallpaper, gradient or colour, adjust padding, corners and shadow, move the camera, trim and speed up clips, and fine-tune the zooms. Then export at the size and quality you need.

The details

Everything you’d want.Nothing you wouldn’t.

  • Zooms where you clicked

Clicks are recorded with the video, so the Studio zooms in on each burst of them automatically. Add, move, resize or remove zooms on their own lane under the clips, and let them follow your pointer.

  • Captions from your voice

Transcribe the recording on your Mac and captions appear only while you are speaking. Fix any word in the transcript and the captions update.

  • Sound you can shape

See the waveform, split it, and mute the parts you don’t want. Add music or narration on its own lane, and set each one’s volume.

  • Export the way you share

MP4, MOV or GIF, from 720p to 4K, at 24, 30 or 60 fps, with four compression levels from Studio to Web (Low). Name the file, choose the folder, or copy it straight to the clipboard.

FAQ

Questions,answered.

No. Recording uses Apple’s ScreenCaptureKit and the Studio exports with AVFoundation, so it works straight away without installing anything.

Yes. Choose Camera as the source to record only your camera with your microphone. It opens in the Studio like a screen recording, so you can add a backdrop and captions too.

No. Recording, transcription and export all happen on your Mac. Recordings are kept on your Mac so you can open them in the Studio again.

macOS asks before any app can record your screen. Allow OneMacApp in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording. Recording only your camera works without it.
